This is a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, 4.7L V8 4x4. I purchased this vehicle as an off-road hunting project, it was running when i bought it but badly, sounded like the notorious timing chain tap, I had it towed to my shop just in case. I drove it around the shop to make sure transmission was good and 4x4 worked, and upon going to park it, it cut off. Here is the brake down of good and bad. The Bad: Engine is bad Seized up. The body is in very good condition but has one or two small spots were the paint is starting to bubble, and trim molding is fading. Both Taillights are cracked, drivers window regulator is broke, and the tires are mismatched and worn. The Autocheck announced frame damage from the auction it was purchased at, the title is clean not salvaged. The Good: The transmission seems strong shifted good through out the range, the 4x4 went in and out just fine. Again the body panels themselves are in good condition and the paint is pretty good but it does have a few spots were paint is bubbling. The interior is in good condition but could use a little clean up, interior trim is in good condition. This would make an excellent vehicle to be put back on the road or to make it into a project, Has a Clean Title,and everything is still factory No modifications have been done. I have to many projects and was not planning on doing a motor on this vehicle I'm willing to cut my losses and move on. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
