car was born a coupe it has sat since 1978 in a garage in louisiana . untill 2 years ago where it was brought back to life this year for its 50th bday.. it has all original factory rust free panels doors fenders hood ect. i do have the original valances they were replaced due to dents not rust. car has 100 miles on it since it was rebuilt. everything works as it should. it was a coupe it had the roof and rear interior changed from a donor fastback . the roof was butt welded 100% to the quarters on the top it joins the wheelhouses in the oem spotweld locations and to the trunk floor. door gaps and panel alignment on this car is better than new. the chrome around windows has some dings its 50 yrs old. the fb rear glass has a streak in the glass and windshield a a small chip in the passengerside. engine is a fresh 289 not original motor with new edelbrock performer heads weiand lowriser dual plane intake and 650 holley double pumper. also added was simple hei electronic ignition . hooker street headers and stock exhaust.carpet seat ulpholstrey headliner door panels are high quality new ones. brakes have new hoses dual bowl master cyl wheel cyls hardware shoes and adjusters .drums are original and were recut. car drives straight does not wander or pull under any circumstance. it does not rattle or squeak. it has 3 coats of ppg single stage ureathane black paint and the bodywork is straight as a arrow. included is the factory original underdash ac and compressor and all the brackets . it is not on the car at this time it needs a new condenser and compressor and hoses. transmission was just overhaulled also and shifts perfect. rear diff was resealed. i will answer all callls on this car after 5 pm cst. and before 10 pm. i will ship only if buyer handles arranges pickup from my home. marseilles ill 61341. i have been restoring earley mustangs since the mid 80s this car is the most solid one i hav ever owned even in better shape rust wise than the cars i aquirresd in the 80s . thiis is not a car that was a rust bucket and is not full of poor fitting tiawan sheet metal. also has new tires and really nice weld wheel pro star rims 15 ". i have all the reciepts for the new parts installed on this car. the spare tire and jack come with this car however they are not in the trunk.call brandon 815 252 5117. i will not end auction earley or take and trades or haggles. this car is bieng sold so i can use the money for another fb i own.
