429 Cobra Jet 4 bolt main

This Father and Son project started 15 or so years ago with a 1954 F100 and a 1971 Ford LTD Georgia State Patrol car. The Drip rail is smoothed, door handles are smoothed, transmission tunnel from 72 Torino was added to allow the body to sit low. Fiberglass one piece tilt front. New unfinished Dan carpenter Bed (no tailgate). New Fiberglass +3 rear fenders, New fibergalss running boards, New one piece window kit not yet installed, new custom gauges, New rare 72 Mustang Manual steering box, MSD ignition box, Griffin aluminum radiator, new weatherstrip kit for doors and windows.Engine is a 1971 429 CJ 4 bolt main block, bored .030 over stock. 11:1 pistons, mild street cam. Original DOOE-R Heads done by Digger Don Dixon, with Hardened seats, 2.25 intake and 1.90 exhaust. Exhaust port smoothed. 1000 cam Batty Grant Race Demon carb fed by a Holley electric fuel pump. Runs strong.Frame is 1971 LTD with rails reversed to fit the Body and bed, all new bushings on frontend. Rear end is a Narrowed 9” with a Detroit locker, 3.70:1 gears and 31 spline Curry axles, Carrera coil over shocks.Transmission is a C6 Auto with original R servo. completely gone through with B&M kit. It’s been to town for a front end alignment and to the fun ford weekend for a dyno run and a few trips up the road just for the hell of it.
