1969 mustang convertible for sale. I bought it a couple months ago to make it a project car for me and my kids, and my wife just found out she's pregnant again and she said car has to go. I've started taking the dash and some other little things off the car so I could restore it (see pictures) I honestly don't know a ton about it but what I do know is this. It runs and can drive. The carb doesn't work great so you have to spray starting fluid in it when it is cold to get it started. Once started and running you don't have to do it, as I believe the choke doesn't work. I was told it had a 302 engine in it but it needs rebuilt because it does knock a little. The car does need to be restored and needs work. I've been told the torque boxes need some work and at one point one of them did have some work. I've had me and my wife and kids in it a couple times for fun and it runs and drives good. Once again it does need quite a bit of work though. I was also told it has a 9 Inch rear end and has overdrive. Originally it came from the factory with a straight 6 engine.
