Vehicle Detail

Beautiful and rare Very Viper Orange (VVO) 2008 with Black Stripes. This is a rare color combination. According to the VOA, only 23 were built like this and several have been wrecked and are gone. This is the Gen IV which features more power than Gen III, different hood, different motor design, better transmission and rear end, many fixes and upgrades over the 2003-2006 Gen III Vipers. I've added extremely tasteful modifications to make this thing a real head turner in the looks department, and a screamer down the road. This car is a true street legal race-car, an amazing piece of engineering. Selling this now to re-coupe cash and get into a Gen V ACR next year. Modifications are as follows (most likely I'm forgetting some):Front Tow Hook - $150Underdrive Pulley - $100Gen V Intake Manifold - Direct Swap - $1000OEM MOPAR Venom Race ECU - $1200 (also have original ECU in a box that goes with the car)M&M Catless Headers - $1700Corsa 2.5" Exhaust - $1300Install for exhaust - $1100BC Coilovers - Dialed in Professionally - $1000Lifetime Alignment Done after Suspension from Christian Brother's Automotive - $15020" x 10.5" F, 20" x 13" Rear HRE 542R's Powder Coated Black (Wrapped in NEW Nitto INVOs) - $6500JL Audio Door and Rear Speakers - $300Kicker 6-3/4" Sub (replaced OE in center console) - $100Rockford Fosgate Powered 10" sub in trunk - $200Black Leather w/ Orange Stitching Done by ASM Upholstry (Gas Monkey Garage) - Sue is crazy! - $4500Rear tow-hooks - $250All interior lights swapped to bright white leds - $150Gloss Black Interior Trim - $350Pioneer Headunit - $270Viper Short Shift Knob - $150Custom Lloyd's Floor Mats - $150Carbon Fiber Door Sills - $300Color Matched Valve Covers - $200K&N Drop In Filter - $50Front Sway Bushings replaced - $50Radium Catch Can - $200New Plugs 4 months ago - $80Dealer flushed all fluids upon purchase (oil/coolant/trans/diff) - $500New tires all the way around in Nov 2014 - $1600Rear end 3.55:1 Gears (Top of 5th Gear is now 165 mph, and it gets there QUICK!) - $500Rear end Install - $700Gen V Viper Steering Wheel Swap w/ Airbag - $1100 - (NOTE: The controls on the wheel are non-functional, as there is nothing to integrate them to with the Gen IV wiring and software. The airbag and horn however is fully functional)Lamin-x Tailights & side markers - $90CD-Rom Dealer Service Manual - $170Dealer Parts Book - $100Extra Keys - $10Flip Key - $25Total Mods/Investments/Maintenance in Last 2000 miles: $25,960. I paid $63k for the car, so I have $88,960+ in it, and I know there are modifications that i'm leaving off. Car originally purchased in Addison, TX from an internet dealer. Had the HRE's then, but nothing else. I changed the tires, suspension, intake manifold, and did the radio install. Other mods were all completed at True Street Motorsports in McKInney, TX. They've got a fantastic reputation and stand by their work big time. Great people! This car screams. Dyno'd 600whp and 570wtq. Fastest car I've ever driven and you must respect the snake. At 3200#, this thing FLIES. Tires hook up great and the car just goes. I've never lost highway roll (C6 Z06, 600cc bikes, C7 Z06, CTSV, Big Turbo STI). I have never launched the car, clutch has plenty of life left and zero slip/engagement issues. The car is hands down the nicest interior Gen IV on the VOA forums, everyone raves about it. I put the whole car together in a few months after purchase, as a project and reward of mine from hardwork. The interior is flawless and is italian leather, perferated and solid leather throughout. The pictures show the pattens I did. The entire dash is wrapped in leather and has some accent stitching. The gloss black panels, shifter boot, and e-brake tastefully bring the black and orange off of the dash and down through the center console. The white LED swap for the interior brings the car into modern times, along with the stellar bluetooth radio and sound system. Nothing has been left unturned in the car. I would gladly and confidently drive this across the country many times over. The coilovers are fully height and dampening adjustable BC's. They're inexpensive but a fantastic product. I have used them on many cars and many people on the forums run them as well. The suspension and ride is really quite smooth. the rear tires rub on hard bumps, which I experience maybe 1 out of 10 outings with the car. To fix that, easily use the included spanner wrenches and raise the rear, or, if you don't mind a little bit more firm ride, just turn the dampening to full stiff. I'm an honest man and want to be honest about the car. There is just nothing mechanically or electrically wrong with it. From time to time the alarm will go off even though the car is unattended to, that is a hood switch problem and I will put the spacer on the button to solve that. Other than that, NOTHING. If someone prefers a more raw viper, the Gen IV is the way to go over the Gen V. I wanted to bring the interior into modern times and did so successfully. I think the standard interiors of the Gen III and Gen IV vipers are way behind, and honestly kill some of the excitement of the car. This is a blast to drive, a true STEAL with the amount of power and modifications this thing has. I love it and have had my fun, time to let go and get into a Gen V ACR or some other fun ride. The last two pictures I believe show the front and rear scratches. The one in the orange paint is extremely hard to photograph and may be able to be polished out. I have the matching paint pen set and will include it with the car. Car is financed and payoff is below the asking price of the car. We will sell it and you can wire funds straight to the lien holder. No issues there, they will release the title to you from the bank.
