1970 Cadillac Eldorado, 34,542 miles, original Paint, original perfect Interior, original amazing Chrome, original DriveTrain, as nice an original Eldorado as you will find. Huge 500 cubic inch engine rated at 400 horsepower, front wheel drive of course. I am the third Owner. Tons of documentation including full owner history from Day 1, original window sticker, annual registrations, letters from previous owners and tons of other various documents all included in two large binders. This is an original unrestored Cadillac closing in on its 50th birthday. If you value originality, this car is for you. If you like clear coated over-restored cars that have been disassembled and never to be factory original again, then this is not your baby. This car was in the Mecum 2012 Orlando auction and was bid to $15,500, not making the reserve. The current asking price is an outstanding value. Exhaust appears to be original . The original resonator (after the muffler) has some small holes at the bottom. The vinyl top has been replaced. The paint overall looks as nice as a respray but guaranteed not to be. The original factory lacquer remains bright and vibrant. There are some minor dings and chipped paint. Please do not expect Lexus quality paint on a 45 year old car. It is extremely nice, but not perfect. The paint on the trunk is checking if you look carefully. Electric windows work fine, all gauges work fine, carpet like new, rare leather bucket seats are superb, back seat looks never sat in, headliner mint, underbody dry and rust free, spare tire is original and has not been out of its well since new. The car runs and drives like new. Completely gone thru and in perfect running order. I drove this car up from Florida when I bought it. It ran flawlessly, not one issue. This is an Alabama car most of its life. Always garaged and dealer maintained. An investment level rare survivor.
