I am selling my 2002 BMW E39 M5, VIN:WBSDE93442CF91422, 5.0L V-8 Gasoline, 6-Speed Manual, Rear-Wheel Drive 85,400 miles Carbon black (Midnight Blue) / black leather All tools, books and paperwork. Clear Title.This iconic modern classic sports sedan was purchased by me in 2012 via a dealer in Orange County, CA. It is an original Southern California car, as documented by AutoCheck and has had several owners since new. No accidents or mishaps. When new, it was sold and delivered through Beverly Hills BMW in Beverly Hills, CA. When I purchased the car, it was in pretty fair shape, but needed some maintenance, repairs and cosmetics, which have been addressed. I would characterize the car as a very nice driver-quality vehicle. I am an enthusiast and own a number of classic Porsches, Audi's and other brands. My little collection is simply getting too large. In the years that I have owned it, it was serviced primarily at two BMW facilities for critical mechanical work:Laurel BMW, Westmont, ILFluid Motor Union, Plainfield, ILThis car is essentially factory stock, with a few changes and upgrades. The front end does have the typical stone chips. There are small scratches here are there. Detailing with a quality professional polish (Menzerna) has brought the paint back to a decent sheen. The leather dash has a small tear at the seam (noted in pictures) from normal expansion and contraction shrinkage. The drivers seat bolster shows typical wear, but is fully intact with NO rips or tears.The engine and drivetrain are excellent. Factory service intervals have been followed by the book. Oil changes have been frequent using German factory Liqui-Moly Synthetic. Everything performance wise that you would expect of a BMW E39 M5 is definitely in this car's character.
