Up for sale is my personally owned 2005 Cadillac STS All wheel drive vehicle with special options. To begin with, the vehicle runs and drives well and I have personally owned this vehicle for over two years, and have put a considerable amount of work into it to make it refurnished and road ready for the next buyer. I purchased this car two years ago from a dealer in Jacksonville Florida who was less than honest, and within 2,000 miles I had to replace the motor due to severe knocking noises. The motor was replaced at Rick's Automotive Transmission and Engine Giant in Farmingdale NY, by placing the same year motor with only 37,500 miles on it and doing a complete swap out of all major parts, so the car’s motor and ancillary parts have very low mileage even though the body of the car has 189.000 miles on it. Since the swap out approximately two years ago, I have only driven maybe 9,0000 miles on it. I have all the documentation for all the work done but the work done is beyond the warranty period. Every component has been changed that needed to be changed, including the battery, alternator, major brake job with new calipers, rotors and pads, complete overhaul of the A/C system as it blows ice cold, new Rims as a few were battered by the cold winter storms, 80% tread on the Michelin Tires, and many suspension components. All electronics, amenities, and accessories including the amazing $2,000 option, heads up display, and the amazing bose Cadillac Stereo and Navigation system work as they should. The interior of the car is almost flawless, as all seats and trim are in outstanding condition. The exterior of the car does need attention however. There are several blemishes and scuffs and areas of missing paint on the front and rear bumper covers, and for a reason unbeknownst to me, when I was getting out of the car recently, the fender and door jam on the driver’s side bent in the fender slightly. Other than that the body is in clean condition and a good detail and doing the other body work will make this car a great looker. There are no leaks in the car whatsoever, and there are no check engine lights on at this time. Occasionally when making a hard right turn a momentary warning light comes on, or when you hit a very bad pot hole, and then once road conditions are smoothed, the warning light of stability control goes off. The car can driven long distances and will make the new owner proud and is being offered here at no reserve and to the highest bidder.
