You are bidding on a highly optioned 1956 Ford Country Squire Station Wagon in need of a total restoration in ALL areas. Car is equipped with "P" code 312 Thunderbird Special and Fordomatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, factory air conditioning, front seat belts, spotlight, Town and Country radio with knobs, back-up lights, and tinted glass. Originally has power seat, but previous owner kept it. I've purchased an original 1956 Fairlane manual 4dr front seat which is correct. Also have purchased 4 dr power window set up with regulators and with uncut wiring harness (minus motors and some switches). Windshield was cracked, so I purchased a good used one with new rubber seal. Lower tailgate was left opened for years, and outer skin is badly perforated. I've purchased good both upper and lower tailgates with new upper glass seal. Car is originally from New Mexico, it has typical rust, but definitely not an Illinois car. Pot metal pieces are great including outer door handles, back-up and front turn signal housings, as well as the "Country Squire" emblems. Some factory air parts missing under hood, but under dash components are unmolested. Could part this car out for more than the opening bid, but far too good for that. No reserve, so bid to own.
