1938 Ford Cabriolet Convertible with rumble seat, rat rod, hot rod, project car This year and model is low production with 4,702 produced. This car is mostly complete, missing the hood trim, driver side door trim and the center grille trim, no top bows. As you see in the pictures it needs some serious metal work, this is not for the amateur bodyman. This car needs a talented metalman. The passenger side quarter panel suffered some damage in the past. The top of the driver's side quarter has been trimmed to remove the top bows, you will have to copy the passenger side to reproduce the driver's side. It needs all of the usual patch panels: door bottoms, quarter patches, rumble seat floor, fender patches, etc. You will need to find a lower driver's door hinge, closed cars have the same hinge. The rear wheel wells where the fenders bolt on is solid with original green paint. The engine is included, but is cracked. I have included pictures of the parts that are included. The parts in the pictures are the only parts included in the sale of the vehicle. Parts included are: both convertible door latches (passenger side is in car), both window frames (passenger side in car), hood support rods, misc. top bow woods, driver's side window regulator ( passenger side in car), fan, cowl mouldings - rough, rear quarter mouldings - needs repair, lower grille mouldings - decent, one center latch for header, one side latch for header, convertible interior mirror - rough, 2 B-pillar rubber receivers, gas pedal and linkage, clutch clevous, 1 wiper station tower, original horns, rumble seat lever and light, license plate bracket, set of new fender braces, 1 additional steering column with banjo wheel, pitman arm and key, original very nice convertible dash (missing clock and radio), convertible windshield and door top garnish mouldings - very nice, NOS headlight rings and lenses & original radiator (not pictured). There are NO TOP BOWS. Car rolls and steers for transport. Tires hold air. Be sure to look at the pictures carefully, if you bid you buy. This car is sold AS IS, Bill of Sale only.
