97 Audi A4 Quattro Ebay buyers must inspect the car in person or contact me before bidding. Selling my Audi A4 Quattro AWD with the 1.8t Turbo engine. It has the Automatic Transmission. Car has roughly 225,000 miles. This has been my daily driver for the past 7 years that I've owned it. It drives roughly 300 miles a week and has been very reliable. Unbelievable in the snow. Clean title in hand. Over the past few months the car has developed somewhat of a hesitation upon accelerating. This is most noticeable when getting onto the interstate. Once up to speed it drives fine and around town it is great. I believe it is possibly an issue with the turbo/wastegate not building enough pressure or fast enough. I can explain it better in person. Anyway, I have gotten used to it and have been driving it like this daily for months. Also, ever since I got the car (7 years ago) I've felt that the transmission mis-shifts at times. This is most notable when it is hot and on hills, it usually wants to shift late. Like I said, it's been like this as long as I've owned it so probably not too big of deal. Seems to be a common complaint with these cars. Other than that, nothing major wrong that you wouldn't expect from a car of this age and mileage. Being sold as-is, where-is. I'm happy to answer any questions. Also, neither front window rolls down anymore and at the moment the cruise control isn't working. I have been quite meticulous with the mechanical maintenance of this car. Items that have been replaced/fixed in the past year: - Oil changed 2 weeks ago (every 5000 miles with Mobil 1 Full Synthetic) - New Timing Belt, Tensioners, Waterpump, Serpentine Belt and tensioner (all changed 3000 miles ago) - New Radiator and Coolant flush - New Lower Radiator Hose - New Coolant Expansion Tank - New Front Left CV Axle - A/C Recharge (blows cold) - New Turbo Diverter Valve - New Crankcase Ventilation Valve - New MAF Sensor - New Air Filter - New Front Brake Hose - New Front Tie Rod End - New Front and Rear Swaybar Links - New Front and Rear Brake Pads and Rotors - 4 New Tires (June 2014) Notable items replaced in the past couple years: - New (rebuilt) driveshaft installed - New Oil Cooler and seal - 2 New Rear Wheel Bearings As you can see, I have done quite a bit of work to this car and have put a fair amount of money into new parts. The new parts alone are likely worth more than I'm asking for the car. I have various other new spare parts that could be included for the right price.
