1978 Honda CR

1978 Honda CR 250 Elsinore Moto-Fox – TOTALLY RESTORED I restored this bike and rode it once about 5 laps around the track. POWDER COATED the frame, lower front fork tubes, swing arm, trees, handlebars, rims and hubs. New DG Pipe. Fox Air Shox rebuilt by Thor Lawson. One of the tubes was replaced when he refurbished. Custom built chain guard to protect the Fox Shox. Custom front number panel. Tank was striped and POLISHED to a chrome like shine. Bike runs GREAT! Only two things to note: 1) The kick start is old and does not always return and rest in the right spot. The spindle and recoil on the kick start is fine. The kicker itself is worn out….see photos. 2) 2) It has been sitting a while and when I started it today the carb was dripping out of the overflow tube until I turned the fuel off. Need to clean the seat on the float valve. I always list full disclosure of any problems! This is a piece of art that I have endless hours in the restoration No returns or warranty
