Vehicle Detail
This 1999 M-Coupe is in great condition. The engine runs strong, it hugs turns, has great acceleration, is super responsive, and is a blast to drive! Arctic silver with two toned black/dk gray racing seats, mesh divider between front and rear, and cover for hatch space. I'm consistently surprised by how much can fit in the back. It's been a daily driver for years and a substantial amount of the miles were highway. The car has been well maintained, garage kept, and has never sat for long periods of time. I have the service history from 3K miles on, and it has no non-stock modifications. I've recently replaced the catalytic converter, brakes, and oil/filter. It's ready to drive and there are no major problems that need to be be dealt with. I've listed any non-engine related items below:Airbag light is on, and was when I bought the car. I've had it looked at twice. Both mechanics say it's a fault in the driver's side seat belt sensor. The seat belt works perfectly, and was tested by both mechanics, but the faulty sensor gives a false airbag reading. To replace the sensor the seat needs to be taken out (around $400 parts/labor). They said that the airbags may not work anyway because of the car's age so I didn't have it done.Car was bumped in a small parking lot last year at low speed (around 1 mph). Rear passenger's fender was dented. Body shop did an excellent job and repairs are seamless. Other than that, no accidents.Part of the leather on the driver's side door is lifted at seam. I can send a picture of this. Subtle wear on the left side of the drivers side seat leather, but other than that the interior is in excellent condition. There are a few dings and scratches, namely at the bottom of the bumper. Some blistering on base of hood.I have a set of BBS wheels with 1/2 life tires on the car (pictured). They are subtle and I like them better than the stock set. The purchase price includes the original wheels, which have low tread on the rear tires. The BBS wheels and tires are 1/2 life tread and can be included for an negotiable price. This may be a good option if you want seasonal sets, or plan to do any track days so you can keep the track tires on the stock wheels.I'm happy to answer any questions you have. I'm moving soon, so please reach out soon if you're interested. Serious inquiries only.
