I have a 2000 white Ford Explorer SOHC 4x4 for sale. I drove it home from Boston in December 2013 (I am the second owner) and it drove fine. It has 157k. It started shifting funny and now I'm told it needs a new transmission. I've decided to sell it instead of putting money into it. If you are a mechanic or mechanically inclined you maybe able to fix it on the cheap and it would be a good driver. New hood struts and rear window struts in January 2014. New headlights and front blinker lights as of March 2014. Some rusting on hood and rear passenger side door, but not bad for a 14 plus year old truck. The driver's side rear door never opened, I'm told there is a $5 plastic part that needs to be replaced. The rear hatch doesn't always close either. You could fix it or part it out. Runs ok and starts every time. No reverse and rear hatch doesn't always lock. NO SHIPPING. You pick up or drive away. Paypal or Cash accepted.
