Transmission blew a few months back and I decided not to fix it. Although the mileage on the vehicle is 84K the entire lower block was replaced at 55000 after throwing a rod. When the transmission was in tact the vehicle worked great. It will still drive in its current state but may result is additional damage, although in 4wd it works well if moving it short distances. That said I would suggest picking it up with a tow truck. One fender bender at 10 mph, which resulted in no damage to this vehicle. The damage to the rear bumper and taillight was due to another vehicle backing into me in a parking lot. The dent to the left rear door, was my fault when I clipped a sign in the middle of a parking lot on a dark rainy night. I am not looking to make money on this transaction, but would like to get more that what a scrapper is offering. I am headed back over seas shortly and I was get this vehicle off my to do list. I know its value and I know what the scrapers will offer. I am looking for some thing in the middle. This is a great buy for someone who wants to get in cheap and fix it. I purchased the car in 2004/5 from Alexandria Land Rover in Virginia. It was a service loaner car and but was maintained by the dealer. I have been the only owner. And it is a non smoking vehicle. I have a clear title in Maryland and will accept. Cashiers check, PayPal, cash in person, or money order. The vehicle will have to be picked up, but I recommend towing it if the distance is over 10 miles.just to be safe.On Jul-06-15 at 17:25:07 PDT, seller added the following information: Also locking nuts on the wheels have been replaced with standard nuts as the original key was broken. And I only have one key fob of the original two. One key was lost overseas.
