Only 485 RS4 Sedans were sold in the United States in 2008 and it was the last year they were available here (verifiable via Stahmann Motorsports Registry Information). Only 1,960 total RS4's were sold here 2006-2008. Of the 1,960 RS4's, 1,789 (91.3%) were Sedans; 1,189 (60.7%) had carbon fiber trim, and only 136 (6.9%) had the Titanium Option PQE (wheels and side mirrors). Therefore, only 75 RS4 sedans with both carbon fiber trim and Titanium wheels/mirrors were ever delivered to the U.S. (91.3% of 1,960 is 1,789; 60.7% of that number is 1,086; and 6.9% of that number is 75. Although the numbers may be off a bit when one is dealing with such percentages of percentages, the rarity of this specimen cannot be denied. All one need do is drive it around awhile during daylight hours and watch reactions of enthusiasts to know that this is a fact. Sometimes, I think I must be insane to let go of this car. But I've got a new performance car on order and I've made up my mind. One of the coolest things I've experienced in my 45 years as a performance car enthusiast is driving around in a car that all of the uninitiated think is some form of Audi A4, when it is actually a 420 horsepower, 8,250 RPM redline, screaming, 6-speed, full-time all-wheel drive, normally aspirated V-8 killer machine that does 0-60 in about 4 seconds and the quarter-mile in the low 12's. This car has been pampered all its life, dealer-serviced, garaged and covered. And because my son owned it before me, it's essentially only had two owners, not three. I have all service records and books (and Carfax, which is perfect). Recently spent $6K with Audi South of Austin because the clutch was not seeming as effortless as it always had been and I didn't want to sell the car that way (NO clutch replacement -- just replacing worn parts where needed). The car is straight and true from every angle and has never been damaged or painted for any reason. Either my son or I have owned it for the last 5 years and 32,428 miles. Everything works flawlessly and the car needs nothing, not even tires. Please examine the photos closely and make your own determination of how this car has been treated by its owners.
