I think the above info sums it up. It has a cute little 4 cylinder with an automatic. The engine runs. This is an outstanding project car. The transmission doesn't shift into third gear. The mechanic I took it to wanted WAY too much to even look at it. It could be something small, or it could need to be replaced. I would venture to say it wouldn't be too hard to find a tranny at a junk yard, but I'm not in a position to work on it or even go looking. It was a fun car and draws a lot of attention. It had the original fat trim, but it was rotting and falling apart. It was just tagged in February and broke down in March! It has been sitting since then. EVERYBODY HAS A PINTO STORY!!!
