This is a 1951 Ford F6 1 Ton Dually Flatbed with Winch. This truck has a straight 6 flathead engine, 4 speed manual transmission. The truck is equipped with a power takeoff to power the winch mounted on the back of the flatbed. The winch is a Tulsa Winch. I was told they are very powerful, and this one works very well. It had cable on it, but it was so bad that we took it off. The body of this truck is in excellent shape. I did not find any rust anywhere. There was one dent on one of the bumps of the grille. The truck has been used for a tree trimming service for many years and then retired due to new equipment. I was told by the previous owner that the truck does run. He said it just needs gas and a good battery. I, myself, tried to start it. It started to turn over, but I really think the starter is bad. If someone has a small landscaping business and wants to use an old truck to better their business, this is the one. Somehow, people like to see old equipment like this still working. The color of this truck was very unique when it was new because it was a deep maroon - almost purple. There are some portions where you can see it, and mainly on the inside of the interior on the dash and doors. If this truck was made original, it would be an awesome looking truck.
