Vehicle Detail
Sorry I had to relist this but I will NOT ship this bike or any parts nor will I prepare it or any of the parts for shipping. You must pick it up. Runs ok. Will need gaskets replaced under the cam towers as it spits oil from #1 spark plug weep hole at highway speeds. Also will need head gasket replaced as evidenced by oil around the head. I will include a complete sealed set of Athena gaskets. Also will need a new battery as the current one will kick start it but does not hold a charge. Electric start does work with a good battery. Seat is in good condition as it was recovered in the the early 2000's and a gel padding used, however the pan is quite rusted. Paint is fair but it's no beauty queen, tank has some light scratches, no major dents and is rust free in the interior. No rust on the fork tubes. Some patina on the headlight ears along with some light dents on the ears also. Patina on the front fender. This bike was originally from New Jersey. Front shocks have Progressive springs and the fork seals are good they were replaced around 2006. Clutch and throttle cables replaced around 2006 also. Rear shocks are Hagon. Tires are from 2008. New Mac Header and Can installed in 2008. Rear brake caliper and master cylinder rebuilt in 2011. Replaced the regulator and rectifier with new ones, not NOS, in 2012. The stator works as it should. The headlight uses an H4 bulb, the shell has a crack. I am pretty sure the handlebars are bent but a good one is included with the spares. A set of new brass swing arm bushings, new head set bearings, new clutch springs, one set of 2 new brake pads, a complete set of new stainless steel engine cover bolts and a set of new carb to intake boots will also be included along with the new gasket set. The spare frame has a clear Maryland title and it is in slightly better condition then the running frame. Forks with some rust and may be missing a bolt or two, triple tree, front wheel with rotors, rear wheel minus rotor, controls, fender, gauges, handlebars, tank (started to remove the sun faded paint but the interior is also rust free), seat in poor condition, headlight shell and ears in better condition then the runner. 78F motor that ran when pulled (a valve tappet lock nut came off while riding but after pulling the valve cover off I did not notice any damage), various engine covers, additional head, '76 carb for parts, motor mounts, miscellaneous nuts and bolts and bits from a third blown motor, oil tank, wire harness with old regulator and rectifier. NO SIDE COVERS for either bike. I cannot stress this enough, NO SHIPPING OF RUNNING BIKE, SPARE FRAME OR ANY PARTS. PICK UP IN PERSON ONLY.
