This 540i Was daily driven up till April. Got another car and selling this one. As of 6/4/2015 there are 147713 miles. Car is still driven once or twice a week so mileage does go up. Comes with 2 keys. One with buttons and one valet key. I am selling this car as is for parts or repair due to the air bag light and I will not be accepting returns. There is no warranty given or implied this BMW 540I is sold "AS IS" When car was rebuilt it got M sport sway bars and koni Shocks all around. Has M5 front bumper installed. BodyThe head light assemblies are less than a year new from Hella. The body does not look bad at a distance but up close the dings and scratches become more apparent. There are also some spots in the paint that are rust bubbling. The drivers front fender is missing the molding. and the driver's rear quarter has a dent shown in the photos. During the winter the splash shield that goes under the engine fell off but a new one will be included but not installed. The car was totaled in 2003 I think around 20,000 miles. Had new front clip installed. InteriorThe interior does not have any tares. But there is some stains on the leather and a small smear of paint on the back seat. The head unit for the radio was moved into the glovebox to make room for touch screen that is installed in the dash and was connected to a computer in the trunk but was never finished. The power seats has some minor issues that need to be sorted. The cup holders are broken. The blower speed button fell off but since the auto function controls blower speed I've never needed to fix it. The wood trim above the glove box is coming loose. Plus general wear and tear on the interior. MechanicalThe engine and transmission run strong but has a few leaks. Mainly the valve covers and timing cover.The code for the airbag light was for the occupancy sensor pass seat last time I checked. The message display keeps giving check coolant level warning but has not been low in 5 years probably bad sensor. Also says check fog lights because I replaced the bulbs with LED bulb so auto check things bulbs are bad but they are fine. Also the sensor for the brake pads broke so the brake light is on. Have new sensor but is not installed. Buyer is responsible for Pick-up or shipping. I can help with arranging shipping but the buyer will pay full cost of shipping.
