2005 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor For sale I have a 2005 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor. Car was a former North Carolina State patrol car, with all highway miles. Car has never seen city use or been abused. This was a one officer take home car. Never had a spot light or push bar installed. Car has power driver seat, power windows and door locks. Heated mirrors, Civilian appearance package (looks like a normal crown vic). This car has carpet, not the plastic floors found in most CVPI's. Paint is in excellent shape. Interior is in great shape as well. This car was on a 3,000 mile preventive maintenance plan with the state. Car hit its 160,000 mile maintenance in December and had a lot of parts replaced due to the department planing on keeping the car for another 50-60,000 miles. Replacement car arrived in May of 2015 and the vehicle was retired. Recent parts replaced in last 10,000 miles -NEW TRANSMISSION AND TORQUE CONVERTER (dec 2014) -8 new spark plugs -8 new coil packs -Four new Tires -New brakes all the way around -Full fluid service -Front end rebuilt last year. Exterior Vehicle had decals professionally removed. No glue or stickers remain. Some light impressions (very faint) do exist on front right fender. Paint is in good condition. There is no oxidation or clear coat problems with this car. Some light scratches consistent with age and use do exist. This is the original paint, not a cheap repaint. All lights work. There are no missing trim pieces. Interior Vehicle interior is in above average shape for age and use. Front seats still have form to them. Minimal wear on drivers seat. Passenger seat is almost new. Rear seat is in like new condition. This car never had bars on the windows so no holes in the rear door panels. Rear locks and handles still in place. Car has carpet in it and has no stains or tears. This was a console car. There are no exposed wires left from removal of police equipment. Dash is in expected condition from use as a police car. Impressions exist from police gear but are minimal and above average from what we normally see. Mechanical Car is mechanically sound. Recently drove from Carolina beach to Atlanta Georgia at highway speeds with no issues. Averaged 21mpg at 80 mph. Front end and steering is tight. There is no play in the wheel. Transmission was replaced by Ford with a brand new crate 4 speed automatic. Cost of $4,400. Less than 10,000 miles on new tranny. Drive train and engine were refurbished at the same time. Eight new plugs and coils. New fuel filter. Full motor flush and carbon removal. Brakes replaced. Tires are at 50%. New battery. AC blows cold and heat is hot. All power functions work correctly. Cruse control holds speed and functions as should. Car did pass emissions in May Emergency equipment All visible emergency equipment was removed from this vehicle in May of 2015 when vehicle was retired from the police force. There is however still a show me strobe controller and hidden strobes in the car. We are unsure of the condition of this system and is currently inoperable. All other emergency equipment has been removed This is a private sale. I am not a dealer. I purchased this car to make a Marauder clone out of but have decided to hold off and just buy a Marauder.
