Purchased in CA a little over a year ago and turned over to my mechanic for a complete and thorough restoration with intentions of having the car of my dreams ready for ultra reliable daily driving for a long time. The following items are all brand new with less than 100 miles on everything.complete new braking system including brakes, all hardware, wheel cylinders, master cylinder, all new brake lines, fuel lines,all shocks, emergency brake cables, speedometer cable and new speedometer, accelerator cable,clutch cable, steering damper, reconditioned gas tank and all components with new sending unit, new turn signal stalk and wiring assembly,transmission and motor mounts, complete clutch assembly, coil, cap, spark plug wires and several other various parts. the upholstry shop completely dissasembled the car (including windshield)and replaced with all new including new carpet throughout with sound deadening barrier, polished carpet retaining strips, inside rocker mats, integrated firewall storage pockets as authentic 356's, and all new upholstery including dash, door panels, rear seat , both bucket seats as well as e-brake cover. New convertible top assembly with new header bow, both clamps and new matching side curtains with mounting posts. All new trunk carpet. completed by adding the following: new polished stainless steel (over the glass)headlight guards, new beehive turn signal assemblies with base seals, hood handle with base seal, walnut shift knob with enameled crest, new door handle gaskets, new stainless steel rear view mirror, new chrome (shine down) license plate light and base gasket,rear taillight base gaskets, front and rear seat belts, all new inside and out(made in Germany)gold porsche scripts and emblems, door hinges, engine lid lock assembly and cable, door, hood and engine lid gaskets. I'm sure there's more but these are the main things. It always starts on the first turn key with no spitting or sputtering , runs great, shifts smoothly , nice excelleration and brakes solid with no pulling. I took numerous pictures detailing it's condition as well as giving careful thought to the selling price which is very reasonable. It's ready for complete reliability and to offer someone worry-free driving enjoyment. Being that the speedometer is new the miles are showing three however the actual miles are approximately 12K. The taillight bezels and lenses are authentic 356 and have new rubber base gaskets installed and I also show a picture of the underneath of the engine. It is turn key and ready to be enjoyed I wish by myself but although many have offered their interesting trades I do need knee surgery with a big out of pocket amount. I instructed the garage to literally replace anything that wasn't obviously brand new because I wanted to drive it to the beach (4 hours) every summer and not have to worry about Anything at all, and the single carburetor is by choice in that I'm not interested in any tinkering but simply to turn the key and go. With the body being so light there is adequate pep for me but if extreme power is something you're looking for you might consider one with a beefier motor. From front to rear literally every component is new but please email me to confirm any concerns large or small. I tried my best to cover all areas without embellishments but if I omitted something it's not intentional and rather than suspect intentional omission please ask and you and you will be given a forthright answer. Also keep in mind I can offer a transport quote NOT simply from the same advertised companies on the net but rather with shippers either myself or someone I know has dealt directly more than once with excellent results, transport companies often unfortunately can potentially offer a competitive rate BUT don't always end up giving comparable service in the end being delivered or picked up later than promised due to being a middleman and contracting out the job to someone else of course after getting your non refundable deposit.
