Up for sale is a 1996 Ford F-350 with the legendary 7.3l Powerstroke Diesel backed with a 5 speed transmission. Don't let the miles fool you, this truck runs and drives beautifully. The truck starts right up, doesn't smoke, no odd noises ticks or anything of that nature. The engine oil was changed religiously in very frequent intervals and oil/fuel additives were used to ensure longevity. This truck was taken care of. It was used as a hotshot hauler for most of its life, hence the high highway miles this vehicle has. The clutch/transmission engages beautifully. There is a little play in the gearbox but it does not affect drivability. For the amount of miles this truck has it's very smooth. The exterior of the truck shows use. It was used as a work truck and it is not by any means perfect. Average dings and dents from use are present. The front bumper/hood have been slightly bent in from a very minor accident. The trucks passenger rear dually fender has seen better days, it should be replaced. The tailgate for this truck is in the bed, it wasn't used as it towed a gooseneck trailer. It has rails for a 5th wheel or gooseneck. A gooseneck setup is installed currently. The truck could be put to work right now with no work needed. Mechanically it's in great shape. Put a trailer behind it and it will pull anything you throw at it. The wheels pictured (16" aluminum Alcoas) will not be included. A set of steel wheels will be included.
