Up for sale is a 2001 Volkswagen Jetta TDI Diesel. This VW features an automatic transmission with all options on the inside including power seats, power windows and door locks, a sunroof and more. It runs and drives very smoothly. It has low mileage for a TDI, at around 163k. This is the first TDI i've had not over 300k miles. I just had a VW tech replace the drivers control arm and axle. The previous owner said the timing belt was done at 130k miles. I've looked this one over and mechanically the car is ready to go. The car does need some work to be perfect. It has been sitting for a little while due to me owning a few other cars. The A/C does not work. The fans do not kick on, could be a loose wire or the actual fans just don't work. The check engine light is on - we scanned it and it was for a glow plug relay, I didn't worry about replacing it as it's in the warmer months. Feel free to check it out and bring a scanner. It has a small coolant leak I think it is coming from the radiator, however I have not looked into it. It only drips occasionally. I noticed this after it was parked about a month, haven't dove into the root of the problem. With that being said the rest is just cosmetic issues. The paint is faded from being a former Florida car. No major body damage and 0 rust. The front bumper needs a few clips, it's falling to one side a little bit. I didn't necessarily worry about the cosmetics just due to me commuting in it, I didn't plan to win any beauty shows. I'm a VW enthusiast, I just have too much stuff and this one needs to go. I bought it for a daily commute but I now need to free up some cash. I tried to mention all that I could think of with this car I do not want to hide anything. It's a solid running and driving car.
