1966 Porsche 911 SWB Coupe. (Delivered in Polo red with black vinyl interior & wood dash.) Factory exterior was painted Polo Red (6602). It was painted black during the 1980's. Poor repaint with original paint showing through in multiple place.Car currently has a replacement 914-6/916 engine that appears to have all of the original add-ons from the factory, including carbs, etc. Kardex shows this car would have been delivered with Weber carbs. Correct engine is #907589. Records indicate that car was last registered in 1987 in North Carolina. Car has CLEAR Title. It was put into climate controlled storage shortly afterwards. The car ran as recently as February 2015 when the gas tank was pulled to repair the rust damage up front. (see attached pictures showing $2500 in rust/metal repair).Car appears to have original panels, glass and interior.Mileage is believed accurate but NOT warranted or guaranteed due to 5-digit odometer on a fifty (50) year old car. NOTE: I have a period correct engine #907712 block/case that could be rebuilt with the parts on the 914/6 engine and installed. It is currently listed on eBay (Item # 321764896987) at a 'buy it now' price of $6,500.I am willing to negotiate a price that includes the car, its current 914/6 engine and the 901/5 engine.
