I bought this KTS and threw a cover over it, meaning to get back to it later, but of course,it's been sitting there ever since while I work on my Triumphs, so time to pass it on. It's a rare and interesting bike, and appears complete. It will make an excellent restoration project. I can't guarantee every bit of it is original, I know the handlebars and tail light arn't, and there may well be other bits too, but I believe it to be a fairly accurate example, although the paint is not original. It is an OHC with an alloy head, and a cast iron barrel, and starts and runs quite well, I have never had it on the road, so bear that in mind. It has both a rear stand, and a side stand. There is a wet sump problem, which I'm told is common, and it smokes a bit on start up, but this clears up quickly. A shutoff valve is fitted in the oil line to help remedy this, but there are safer options available. Lights don't work. I understand the KTS was fitted with KSS engines, hence the engine number, KSS9098. this number is partly obscured by the oil pipe, but I took it from 2 angles to capture it all. This could be a beautifull bike if restored, but it really is quite presentable as it is, and you won't have to be ashamed to roll it out at your next rally. I have tried to give an accurate description of it, but there may be some flaws I'm unaware of. Please accept it as an old bike needing TLC. I'm happy to answer any questions promptly. It has come out in the pictures looking better than it really is. It might need repainting, depending on the buyers expectations. The tank has some surface cracks in the paint, or "crazing".
