I am selling my 1972 Alfa Romeo Spider.The rocker panels are badly rusted and there is some damage in the rear from it being rear ended by another car. I am not able to repair this damage to the body, so I am selling it. This car was my daily driver for 4 1/2 years. It endured 3 winters in Fort Drum, NY.The engine runs great -- it is in superb shape and just had a valve job. The rear differential makes hardly any noise. There is a chassis stiffener installed. The convertible top is in decent shape. The wheels are in good shape. The brakes work great. The suspension, however, needs work. All lights, horn, etc. work. Almost everything is functional on this car. The SPICA system is running strong and doesn't need any work at the moment. I drove the car the other day and it felt very strong and solid, despite the rust -- this is probably due to the chassis stiffener. Many new parts have been installed and much mechanical work has been done. Many electrical switches, wires, hoses, etc. There is a rare locking gas-cap, which is operated by the glovebox key. Some hard-to-find parts were installed in the last couple of years I drove it, including a brand new oil-vapor separator and brand new windshield washer foot-pump. I also have lots of brand new parts lying around, which will be included with the car. I didn't include all the pictures of all of these -- email me if you would like to know specifically what parts I have. I have receipts for all work, performed by my amazing mechanic in Levittown, PA.If you would like more pictures, or would like to inspect it in person, let me know.
