First year of the RS. The so-called 'gentlemen's express'. This is the one with the 41mm exhausts and big intake and exhaust valves. Last year for spoke wheels with hand painted pin stripes. Hand painted pin stripes on the bodywork, as well. Very cool. Cruises easily all day at 85+ on the slab or carving canyons. Both 3/4 seat (mounted and very rare) and dual seat. Krauser bags with keys (also rare). Complete tool kit, tire pump, dual plugged heads, and fuel cap key. This is not a restoration, but he has been freshened (professionally) for reliable riding at the current low 40k miles. Just returned from a 1700 mile trip to Phoenix via Socorro, NM and Kayenta, AZ. Runs perfectly and ultra reliable. Not a ground up restoration (but, also, does not look 38 years old!), but a well maintained, classic airhead. He starts right up, idles smooth at 1000 rpm and pulls like a train.
