Vehicle Detail

I am selling my project car because I'm no longer able to work on it due to disability. I've had this car for over 15 years and has been sitting in pieces, in my garage, for the last 8. It is VERY much a project in progress. This auction is for THE CAR ONLY, none of the loose parts from the previous listing. It's a complete car, the only thing that has been removed from the car is the interior, (wiring and upholstery) and it will be included with the car. So, THE GOOD:- Rare factory convertible. 87 was the first official year for 'verts. This car is #41 of a run of prototype cars done to test the waters for convertibles.- Still has original motor and transmission, 305TPI/700R4- Aftermartket set of wheels, 15" Cragar Centerline-style wheels- Fiberglass SS hood- B&M ratchet shifter- Grant steering wheel- The body is straight, the convertible top bows are too THE BAD:- The motor in it has a spun bearing. I didn't care because I was building a 383 to replace that weakling 305 anyway.- The transmission is shot. I didn't care because I was going to put a 6-speed manual in there.- It will need a complete upholstery job (seats, carpet, doors...) because of the next thing... Actually the seats from the 89 aren't bad.- The top upholstery needs to be replaced. It's terrible.- There's a little rust here and there. Small spots, that were going to be addressed by the next thing...- It could use a paintjob. It doesn't look bad, but it's a lacquer job put on there by a guy whose nickname is "Runs". And it has scratches from storage. I didn't care because I was going to paint it black like my 89 was. So, check out the pics, ask any questions you want. I'll answer quickly, honestly, and as many as you want. Revision: Apologies, I apparently left the Best Offer option on from the previous listing. Frustrated with the lowballs, I've set the Buy It Now to my "must-have" amount. Thanks for your understanding.
