Showing the car in Red Bank nj:Thursday - seen but not driven 7 AM - 9 PMFriday 10 AM - 2 PM (seen and i will drive you) You are looking at my Porsche 914 Le Man replica car. i saw this car design on ebay and fell in love with the Gulf GT race team colors. The car drives like a dream. it has been a summer, weekend only car. it is perfectly tuned and running great! This has been a father and son project over the last three years that has turned into a complete dad project. my son wants a jeep so the car will be sold unless a local person wants to swap a jeep. i will list some of the work done and i have 9000k in receipts that i can share with the buyer. we have a 4,000 dollar body work and paint job done last fall before the winter set in. i purchase this car from a gentleman in florida who owned the car for 19 years before i bought it. he told me all the body work was done before he bought the car... and all the fenders are fiber glass not metal. Other work the previous owner had done was"- remote oil cooler in the front of the car. if you look at the front fender you will see the location of the oil cooler.- adapter plates to make the vw hubs support 5 lug rims- gas race shocks in the rear kyb- metal brake lines- side shift trans (not exactly sure what else on the shift but awesome compare to stock in terms of throw and into gears) i do plan to post some videos i have of me and the car doing 90 mph. as i said runs great here is what we have done:- new turbo tie rods and ball joints- new front shocks- new brakes (2 yrs old now) with BMW master brake cylinder. - complete new electrical system - regulator, alternator and belt- rebuilt EMPI 40 carbs- new metal fuel line- cleaned out gas tank- re-mediated light rust to hell hole as my mechanic says this is one of the best no rust 914 he has seen. New pioneer radio and speakers- MPS player- iPod connection Roll bar Interior- new carpet- recovered interior w kit from California to the original. i still managed to sit in it with a screw driver and scratch one side and i am fielding lots of questions.... i will continue to update the listing responding to many of the questions. this is not a show quality car. this is a driver car with mild imperfections in paint, interior and other....
