For sale is a 1927 Model T Ford Tudor sedan. This is a complete, original unit and all the numbers match. The car has been completely restored and refurbished from top to bottom. The paint is a lovely deep blue and the interior and upholstery are a soft blue-grey complimented by grey carpeting. There are spots where the original blue paint can be seen, confirming that this car was originally blue, but a slightly brighter blue than it is currently. This car has an electric starter which was standard on ‘26 and ‘27 Ts. This car lived in Texas from the time it was originally sold in 1927 until I bought it in the spring of 2014, so there has never been any rust and the sheet metal appears to be all original. I have checked the body thoroughly and never found a speck of bondo. The restoration of the body and undercarriage was carried out before I bought the car so I cannot guarantee that it was a frame-off restoration but it appears to be. Either way, the structural restoration was a very thorough and carefully executed job. The paint is in very nice shape and the car looks good both up-close and from a distance but it is not showroom perfect. There is a small scuff in the chrome on the top, right-hand side of the radiator; please see photo. The car comes with a 1927 owner’s manual explaining routine service as well as a Model T mechanic’s Manual and a wiring schematic. There is also a box of extras including, but not limited to: a band changing tool, an extra set of bands, an original Model T jack, hubcap wrench, touch-up paint, grease & a grease gun and a set of engine gaskets. This car was one of the very last Ts produced – according to the VIN number (14991341) it was built on Tuesday, May 24, 1927. Two days later, on May 26th, the 15 millionth T rolled off the River Rouge plant assembly line and five days after that, on the afternoon of May 31, 1927 the Model T assembly line was shut down forever after car number 15007034 rolled out the door. Car number 15 million is in the Ford museum in Dearborn, but this may be the only other survivor of those final days of T production. This is a truly unique and historically important T. I had no plans to sell this old girl but heart problems are limiting me to much smaller hobbies. The mileage listed above is simply a place-holder as Model Ts have no odometer and the actual mileage is unknowable. Car comes with a clear Ohio title.
