1963 Chevrolet Corvair ConvertibleHere is a very sharp and clean 1963 Corvair convertible. This car has had an older restoration and it still presents well and can be driven with confidence. The original motor runs strong and the automatic transmission shifts as it should (it does have the typical Corvair oil drip while sitting). Everything works including the blinkers, heater, horn, wipers and emergency brake. It has a newer Pioneer AM/FM Stereo with CD and under dash speakers that sound great. It also has an extra after market power outlet, wiper delay and hazard switch that were added. The interior is in very nice shape and was re-done at some point I am guessing before all the newer after market "interior kits" were available. There are also 4 after market seat belts installed which makes this a great family summer car. The paint (base coat/clear coat) still looks very good and shines up great! It does have its share of nicks and touch ups. It is a rust free car however I am sure that it did have some bodywork done prior to the re-paint (it does have a paint bubble showing above the drivers wheel lip (see picture). The under carriage and floors are clean and solid. The trunk area is also very clean and solid. The top (manual) is newer and in very good shape. I just purchased a brand new boot cover also (see pictures). Radial Firehawk tires look to have about 70% tread left. Chrome moon covers are in nice shape also! This car turns heads wherever you drive it!
