Up for auction is a very clean 1975 Pontiac Firebird. I bought the car from the second owner, and it was garaged most of its life. It is an unmolested 6 cyl 3 spd. car. I welded in 3 patch panels on the body, 1 behind the right front tire on the fender, and 2 behind the the rear tires on both sides. They were showing signs of rust, and the only way to be sure I got all the rust was to cut those pieces out and put in new. The rest of the car is 100% rust free, the floors and trunk are perfect. I repainted it Pontiac Vivid Red, which is not the original color. It was the orange red paint and I didn't care to much for that. I installed new seat covers on the front buckets, and didn't have to do anything else to the interior, other than put a new headliner in it. which I never got around to, so it will need 1. The door panels, carpet and rear seat are in very good shape. The dash has 1 small crack by the drivers side, and it is bowing like it is about to crack on the passenger side, otherwise in good shape. The car runs and drives great. It came with little to no options. It has power steering and front disc brakes, but notpower. No gauges, just idiot lights. Heater works good, and the brakes are 80% front and rear. The tires are almost new with at least 90%. The clutch was replaced at 90K miles so it has about 27K miles on it now. All in all this is a very nice looking and running car.
