Found the car in California, then drove it home to Minnesota in the early 80's. He had us help with a resto back in 1990. This car was and is very very clean! It was completely media striped top to bottom! Bottom side was sprayed with gloss black POR 15. Then finished off in B5 Blue. The NUMBERS MATCHING 340 was freshened up and dyno'ed at 406 HP. It has Hooker super comp headers and a 750 Holley. Most everything has been rebuilt or gone thru.Things that where just done!!1) BRAND NEW CRAGARS & MICKEY THOMPSON's 0 miles2) Very high end freshly rebuilt 727 w/tight 10 inch converter! Not only does the car look tough, it can back it up! It has run low 13 sec quarter mile pass's in street trim. Another big plus! This was a California Car, SO the resto was done on a RUST FREE BODY! It shows very well! But keep in mind, it was restored many years ago. So, NO, it is not perfect or a concourse resto. It has some paint blemish's. The gas tank has a dent. It had a color change, so do your research on the fender tag. The transmission is NOT numbers matching. But is a correct small block 727. This car is very clean underneath. It is NOT scaly or crusty!
