2008 Kodiak 4500 4x4 Duramax, Allison 2350 6 speed transmission, crew cab. Truck has all the normal stuff, AC, power windows, power doors with remote keyless entry, cruise control, AM/FM w/ CD, truck currently has 17,300 miles on it. This truck has NEVER been driven in the winter. It is stored in my garage when not in use. It is in like new condition. All maintenance was done on this truck well ahead of time. I purchased the truck brand new from a dealer lot in Texas. It was upfitted (customized) at Laredo Conversions in Dallas. They are one of only 4 authorized GM factory upfitters. They know what they are doing. This wasn't some backyard project. The upgrades include: Exterior: Custom hauler bed with 5th wheel and gooseneck turn over ball hitch. Bed also has 6 O-ring tie down in it. Hauler bed also has 4 locking equipment boxes built into it. There is also an integrated steel headache rack with integrated blinker and stop lights. The bed has spray on bed liner to protect the surface and custom diamond plate rail protectors. Custom full length double step running boards. The tops of the steps are also covered in diamond plate. OEM grill replaced with custom grill w/ body paint to match. Lower front air valence also body painted to match. Accuride polished aluminum wheels. Three color (white, silver and black) full body custom paint (this is not a sticker, it is really painted). This includes body matching painted hand grips, door handles, mirrors, body moldings, etc . . . Tinted windows and a truck air horn were also added. Interior: The original interior was completely removed and tossed out. The entire interior, doors, ceiling, back wall was sound proofed with Dynamat. The floor was covered with carpet made for the Kodiak. Dash and door panels where replaced with wood grained vesions. The front seats were replaced with heated leather air ride captain chairs. The rear seat was replaced with a matching leather power fold down seat that makes out into a bed. There is a custom built floor console that fits between the two front seats. This has drink holders and a huge internal storage area for all kinds of stuff (I have all the trucks manuals and after market equipment manuals in there). There was an over head console that was added which runs from the front of the truck to the back. There is built in "mood" lighting in the over head console as well as a rear entertainment system. The rear entertainment system includes a flip down 10" LDC display with a DVD player and wireless headsets. There are also jacks which allows you to plug in a game system if you choose to. There is also a color Edge Insight CTS monitor installed which enables you to monitor dozens of the trucks functions and sensors including EGT, speed, RPM, transmission temperature, coolant temperature, and much, much more. Mechanical: There are dual 7 way RV trailer plugs installed at the 5th wheel hitch and the rear hitch. There is also a standard 9 wire trailer plug installed at the rear. The rear suspension was replaced with a Link UltraRide rear suspension with air bags. There are 2 - air compressor and storage tank systems on the truck, one for the seats, air horn and engine brake and a second system for the rear Link suspension system. There is a quick couple on one of the air tanks so you can quickly pop on an air hose and use compressed air for whatever (tires, air tools, etc). There is a battery tray pull out on the passengers side w/ 2 batteries that are only 1 year old. There is a RV trailer brake controller installed. My wife and I love this truck. It has almost exclusively been used to tow our 5th wheel toy hauler. The ONLY reason we are selling it is because we want to buy a class A diesel pusher. We are selling the truck and the 5th wheel. You can buy just the truck or both together. The truck mileage is so low because we nerev drive it. It sits in the garage most of the year. We really only use it to two the camper. This truck is a HEAD turner. We get comments everywhere we go. People are always asking us about it. If you want the biggest, baddest 4 x 4 on your block (or in your state for that matter) this is the truck for you. If you have a large 5th wheel, either toy hauler or large estate version weighing in at 15,000 to 25,000lbs . . . this is the truck for you. I have a Chevy 2500 Duramax as well and this truck will out turn, out stop and out pull it all day long. It is an awesome tow vehicle.This truck is for sale locally also.
