1955 FORD THUNDERBIRDThis car is spent most of it's life in Texas. It was restored in the early 80's and then stored in a garage in upstate NY. Car runs quite well. Engine runs smooth, turns, stops, shifts, brakes, goes straight down the road. Power steering, power windows, power seat. The car is very solid. Some evidence of new metal in the front floor area. Frame is super solid. Paint is really smooth and shiny and has plenty of imperfections from use, but looks good from 10 feet away. Both tops. Nice headliner, but soft top may need to be replaced. Chrome bumpers are very nice. Interior chrome is original with some imperfections. There is a small dent in the drivers fin at the top where it looks like someone may have dropped the hard top when they were taking it off. Trunk metal is very nice. Has reproduction am/fm radio that works well. Speedo works, tach needle fell off. Lights work, blinkers work. Converted to 12 volts. This is not a show car.
