Vehicle Detail
2001 BMW E46 330Xi 167,659 miles VIN# WBAAV53421JS92938 This is arguably the best 2001 BMW all-wheel-drive 330Xi out there! It looks like a four door M3 that BMW would have built! Some mishaps that are truly blessings in disguise, well, this car is that perfect example, please read on! I bought this car in early 2011 from an auction, the previous owner had front end damage from striking a deer, while the damage wasn’t really all that bad, the insurance company decided to write the car off as a total loss due to fact that repair cost could potentially come close to the residual value of a 11 year old car. I took the car to one of the premiere custom car shops in Philadelphia, R&B Custom Auto to bring it back to its glory. We decided to put on all new front body panels and not waste our time doing body work (as some shops might do to save money), so the hood, fenders, and windshield were all replaced. The radiator, AC condenser, cooling fans, etc were also replaced with brand new factory parts; in essence, everything got freshened up, something a typical 11-year-old car from a used car lot won’t have. At that point, I decided to go all the way and just have the whole entire car custom repainted, and added on a bunch of upgrade, update, and modifications. It was then inspected and reissued a PA reconstructed title, and it also passed the PA state safety inspection and emission inspection, and was registered and put back on the road since July 2011. For an 11 year old car, this car looks brand new, and it is completely stunning! It runs very strong, I replaced the spark plugs, fuel filter, valve cover gasket, and have been changing the engine oil with Castrol Syntec 5W-30 every 5,000 miles. This car amazingly gets 29 MPG on the highway and low 20’s in town, not bad at all for an all-wheel-drive! See the list of update, upgrade, and modifications below, they were all done in summer of 2011: - Fresh complete custom paint job with tasteful custom scheme (roof painted black, two tone hood, all chrome prices painted matte black) $5000 - Factory xenon headlight upgrade (car originally came with halogen lights) $1500 - Smoked after market blinkers, side markers, and rear LED tail lights $400 - Blacked out front kidney grille $50 - M3 CSL style front bumper with carbon fiber splitter $350 - BMW M Tech rear bumper $350 - Carbon fiber CSL style rear trunk lid $500 - Upgraded sound system with new Kenwood head unit (aux input, MP3, CD, satellite ready), new Kicker speakers all the way around, Kicker subwoofer, JL amp, total cost was $2,000 - 35% life time warranty window tint $250 - Koni adjustable shocks/struts $650 - H&R lowering spring $250 - Bimmerworld adjustable rear lower control arms $250 - Powerflex front and rear urethane control arm bushings $200 - AFE cold air intake $300 - HKS full exhaust $1000 - BMW factory M3 floor mats $125 I am sure I left something out, but with all the stuff above, the total was over $12,500, not to mention labor cost, the cost of the car itself. I am selling it to raise funds to invest into my business, and I really hate to see it go.
