I have retired and am in the process of downsizing. The time has come to sell our family's beautiful 1936 Chevrolet Standard 2 door Coach Coupe Sedan. This is the rare slantback model with the rear tire on the back. Although Chevrolet made over one million Chevrolet in 1936, only 60 thousand of this 109 inch "shorty" Standard Coach model came off the assembly line. Very few of these remain and are highly sought after by Restorers and Hot-Rodders alike. 1936 was the first full year for the All-steel turret style roof and hydraulic brakes. Also comes with rare accessories such as spare tire cover, bumper guards, two rear tail lights and rear fittings for a tire jack. This particular car was apparently restored back in the early 1990s and has been drive relatively little since then. Unknown mileage. Although not a show car, it looks nice with a few dings present. The car was driven into my garage back in 2002 when my father passed and other than an occasional start, has not been driven since then. It will probably need a new battery to start as the last new battery was installed back in 2003. I would also recommend a general tune-up on the brakes and fuel lines/tank prior to use.
