Let's start with the good news: Clear Title with relatively low miles - approximately 4,000 miles. Brakes and tires very good condition. Engine oil and coolant look good. Running key, trunk fob and trunk key are included. Electric lights and switches work fine when I hooked to new battery. I have the workshop manual in electronic format and can burn to CD if new owner wants it. Now the not so good: Like mentioned above the 'Master' key is missing and this is required to program the running key after the 'Immobilizer' has been triggered. The Immobilizer is an anti theft device and is triggered when it senses a electrical condition similar to hot wiring or when the bike battery goes completely dead - which is the case here. It immobilizes the bike and prevents jump starting or 'hot' wiring directly to the starter solenoid etc. The bike will need a new battery and dealer work to get running. I talked recently with Erico Motorsports in Denver that sell and maintain Piaggio scooters and they told me that they would need to replace the CDI ignition module, the ECU unit and key switch and reprogram a new set of master and driving keys. They estimated $800 in parts and $177 labor to get the bike running again. Owners manual is missing. Windshield is faded. Rear view mirror is broken and will need new or used body part to repair. Body has scrapes but very little rust. Gas cap cover need screwdriver to open as the spring latch is broken. Cover in front of the radiator does not open - latch appears to be stuck. Windshield needs cleaning and buffing. Bodywork has some scratches and some loose joints. Right rear view mirror mount is broken and will need a new or used body panel to fix. Bike is smooth, quiet and fast. Brakes work excellent and pads look good. Have clear New Mexico title with running key, trunk fob and trunk key. Seat needs new cover. Speedo, temp guage and tank guage all work. All lights on instrument panel work. This description above about the Master key and dealer work needed is wrong. I described the problems I had to a Piaggio dealer and that was not the issue. I was not holding the hand brake in while pushing the starter. duhhhh . I know. I am considering cancelling the ad and reposting to help make the ad more accurate. The running keys work fine - the bike is fully operational and just needs cleaning, new seat cover and right rear view mirror replaced or fixed. Thanks.
