Stage 6 Audi S4 B5 History This B5 was built by a Nor Cal Audi club member Marin S4 in the forum. Those long time members will remember this car frequently referred to in the forums. Like the gold standard of advanced B5 engine building. It was considered by many in the Nor Cal Audi club to be one of the most desirable S4s in California. Over $40,000 invested on the motor build alone. All essential parts of the motor are genuine B5 RS4 parts right down to throttle body, KO4s and camshafts. I have spent another $15K on upgrading the Brakes and Suspension and other misc improvements. This car has been my favorite passion project and has improved every year I have owned it. You will not find another B5 built this completely. Engine , Drivetrain, Brakes and Suspension all upgraded completely and correctly. The engine alone is worth the asking price. Power and Handling This car must be driven to appreciate. It is truly the fastest best handling car I have ever driven. I am 60 years old and have owned and driven a lot of high performance cars. including Porsche 911, 930 and Ferrari 355. This car accelerates faster and corners better than all of them. Vishnu dyno tested at 355 WHP or 424 at the crank. Runs 22 lbs of boost pressure The MTM adjustable suspension is second to none and is flat and predictable in hard cornering. This car is really fun to drive, is very reliable and has been my everyday driver for 10 years. Maintenance My care and maintenance of the car has been impeccable. Wax and oil change 2x per year. Clay bar every year. The paint still has great depth and shine. Service and upgrades for the last 10 years has been done by 2Bennett Audimotive. Google them. They specialize in Audi performance and have been published in several magazines for their GTR B5. Whenever the car needs anything I take it to them and I always do more than is required. Nothing is overlooked. Current condition The car is currently in perfect running order with no issues. It still pulls as strong as the day I bought it. It does not consume any oil either by leaks or burning. The suspension has just been refreshed with brand new drop links and upper and lower control arms. The clutch, timing belt, water pump, fuel pump, coil packs, cats and plugs have all been recently changed. The car is ready to run for a long time. This car is a sleeper. When you open the hood everything appears to be stock. No flashy colored hoses or tip offs for smog inspection.
