First of all, if you don't know what an SVX is, go to youtube and search for "Regular Car Reviews SVX" and watch it. Auction includes a running and drive-able 1992 Subaru SVX, a 1994 parts car with no engine or trans, a complete but partially disassembled EG33 engine and about a car and a half worth of extra parts including 3 extra wheels. The running car has an ECUtune tuned ECU and TCU. The car was purchased in California without an engine or a transmission. The car was completely stripped down and the wiring harness was replaced from a donor car (not the current parts car) because whoever removed the engine and trans took the bulkhead and ECU connectors as well. While it was stripped down the entire interior was cleaned and sound deadening material (dynamat) was installed on the doors, firewall, trunk and most of the floor. The sunroof works, but needs a little help when you're not moving. The car runs great at highway speed, but runs rough around town and at idle. It occasionally makes a pinging noise originating from the torque converter at idle and low RPMs. I just drove the car from Southern California to North Dakota in September last year and the only problem I had was running out of gas once in BFE Idaho. At buyers request I can include the factory service manual on DVD or a small flashdrive. The only reason I'm selling the car is because I have a kid on the way and I won't have the time or money required to finish it right. I also now live 2 minutes away from work and a GT car no longer makes sense for daily commuting. Buyer will be responsible for picking up the both cars and parts. The 1992 can be driven away, but the 1994 parts car will need a trailer/tow truck. Since the transmission has been removed you can use a dolly. The engine is currently on an engine stand that is not included in the sale. bring your own stand or I have an old tire you can set it in. The car is currently on Minot AFB. If you cannot get a pass to come on base I can move the cars off base for you, provided you let me know ahead of time.
