original 1958 chevy apache 3100 big window,fleetside shortbed truck. this truck is a california truck that is RUST FREE other than some surface rust...great patina!!!! it came from the grandson of the owner. it had been in his grandfathers back garage for years, last registered in 2001 235 6 cylinder engine and 3 spd manual trans on column that run and shift perfect! new wheel cylinders, oil and filter,trans fluid and rear end fluid. old gas was drained out, not full of dirt, and new gas was put in. it starts right up and idles beautifully. new hinge springs were added as the old ones were weak has all glass, door windows roll up and down as they should w no issues drivers side window has tiny crack like a small rock may have hit it at some point wing windows open and close properly rear window is solid heater blower works!! horn does not work missing driver side wiper arm needs glove box latch missing the script on passenger side of bed that says fleetside, can be found here on ebay im sure or any vintage truck parts dealer the seat was removed by the owner as the springs were shot and he took it out and replaced it w the seat you see in it. grandson said he does not know what his grandfather did w original seat truck has had 1 repaint as far as i know body is incredible on this truck!! no rust in cab corners,rockers,floors have some small flaking in one area of floor as seen in pics but not weak, or cancerous at all,solid, need to be cleaned up thats it! drip rails,front window area etc are all solid bed as original wood in it w some slats broken but all there, the plates you see in bed are to protect the wood passenger side has some scratches and a ding where it looks as if the truck scraped up against something.(see pics) nothing major doors shut good, drivers door looks like it may have had some body work at some point on bottom in a small area(see pics) single exhaust,wide whites,original caps, a solid rare 58 big window!!! clear cali title in hand truck is sold as is where is w no warranty or guaranty of any kind either written or implied, truck is for sale locally and i reserve the right to cancel the auction at any time. if you have any questions or would like more information on this truck, please feel free to ask any and all questions BEFORE buying or making an offer!!!! i will be happy to answer all questions to best of my ability a 500.00 NON REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT is due within 24 hrs of auctions end, if i do not receive the deposit, the transaction will be cancelled and truck will be re listed....not trying to be a jerk but do not want to deal with flakes, i hope you can understand my position. i have described this truck and everything about it as detailed as possible, like i said, any and all questions are welcome. thank you for considering my auction.
