1929 Ford custom sport coupe Roadster. Suicide doors with bear claw latches. Thinned doors and body, built square tube seat frame to the body to hold seat and to support door hinges. Frame and body are Original 29 Henry Ford steel and it has a brand new Small Block 400 Chevy V8 with mild cam that is just been rebuilt with forged Keith Black pistons and all top quality machining and parts. Has 1959-63 3 carb setup with progressive linkage and polished intake. High Output Coil & Mallory distributor, turbo 350 transmission brand new built here in Bakersfield at Gil’s transmission. The rear end is a Ford 9 inch. Front end is traditional with chrome plated parts, comes with 4 wheel disc brakes. Windshield has a visor and there is a crack in the corner of the glass. Chrome front shocks, new master cylinder, polished American racing rims and whitewall tires, Stainless steel radiator overflow tank. Chrome Head Lights, 1942-48 Tail, Parking Lights. Has an original firewall with 11 Gal Gas Tank and the Battery is mounted in the trunk. This Roadster is a fun car to drive and turns heads wherever you go. The Car is in great looking condition, the Paint and interior are new, 1932 dash and old style gauges all work in good Condition. Comes with original hood and sides “not painted ”. The rear of the seat is wood and not finished, I was going to cover with the same interior material or go black with the rest of the car. The Car is currently registered and is titled as a 1929 Ford and has a clear California title in my name.
