Vehicle Detail
Note: Sorry to those who wanted to see the Jeep during the previous listing. Knee surgery two days after the listing had prevented me from being able to show the Jeep. I'm recovered, and it's now ready for viewing. BACKGROUND ON THE JEEP:This is a great chance to purchase a 2005 Jeep Wrangler with less than 22,000 original, one-owner miles. I bought the Jeep new at Stoneridge Jeep in Pleasanton, CA., then delivered it to my Idaho vacation house. For the past 10 years, the Jeep has seen scenic highway miles throughout Idaho, Oregon, and Montana, combined with a few trips back and forth to Northern California. Off road, the trips have been on well-maintained US Forest Service roads throughout national forests and parks across the pacific northwest. The Jeep is equipped with reversible front and rear hitches for accommodating the Warn winch shown in the pictures....front mount for dry conditions, rear mount for snow conditions (if you've ever lived in snow country and slid into a snow berm, then you know it renders a front winch useless). Other uses for the hitches include bike racks (slip into either front or back), canoe carriers, or a small trailer. A trailer light harness is included. PLEASE NOTE: THE WARN WINCH IS NOT PART OF THE SALE OF THE JEEP. The Jeep has NEVER been wrecked, ever, and has never been scraped across rocks. Pictures included show no rock marks or damage on the skid plates. The Jeep runs straight as an arrow on the highway, and no modifications have been made to the stock steering and suspension parts, except 1.75 inch coil spacers, corresponding shocks, and 1 inch lug spacers to accommodate the LT285/75R16 tires mounted on stock Jeep Rubicon wheels. The fender flares fit perfectly with the tires, giving the rig a great look and stance, but without looking "after-market." The cargo rack shown carried my Sea Eagle inflatable raft, electric trolling motor, battery, and fishing poles into some of the best locations around the Payette National Forest area. Two blinder LED light bars have been mounted to the cargo rack. A professional auto-electrician wired the two light bars to the existing auxiliary switch (leaving the dash completely stock). THREE SETS OF DOORS are included: 1) The Jeep came with full metal doors, matching the body. 2) I bought an extra set of full soft doors. 3) Even better, I bought a set of metal half-doors (which also match the Jeep body color) and matching soft half-windows. TWO TOPS are included: 1) the soft top shown in the pictures, and 2) a green hard top. Both came with the Jeep when new. The spare has been mounted with a LT285/75R16 tire and Rubicon wheel, the same as the running tires. Services have been regular, and no problems have ever been found.
