Up for Auction 2003 AUDI A4 1.8T QUATTRO AWD (AS IS) Year 2003 Make AUDI Model A4 Engine 1.8 T Transmission AUTOMATIC Mileage 109,226 Color LIGHT BLUE VIN WAULC68EX3A333082 For auction is our 2003 Audi A4. This car is currently off the road and is being sold for the owner. The owner of this vehicle purchased this car a month ago for his son. The car was in good mechanical conditions at the time of purchase. the car passed Mass State inspection without any problem. However, a while after while the car was on the road the water pump failed. The person that was driving the car at the time didnt realize as the car started to over heat. As the car over heated the timing belt as a result got damage which led to damages to head gasket. The car was taking to a local Audi dealer ship and was giving a full diagnostic. The mechanics at Audi have determine that the following things need to be replace in order to get the car back to a full working condition. {Cylinder head, Head gasket, head bolts, intake gasket, exhaust gasket and hardware, coolant flange oring, vave cover gasket, water pump, timing belt, rollers, tensioner, coolant, serp belt} The Audi dealership quoted the job at $3,500. The car was then taking to a local certify mechanic who evaluate more of less the parts that need to be replace or fix as Audi did but at a lower cost of fixing just around $2,500. Since the owner dont really have the time to deal with this, I suggest placing the vehicle on Ebay to a potential auto person who is good at fixing car. The parts needed to fix this car will run around $1,000 to $1,600. The mechanic whom diagnose the car estimate it will take about 12 hours to get the job done. So if one can potentially do the work on his or her own then this would be a great chance to get a good car at a decent price. Everything else in the car is in great working condition. The body look nice and the leather in pretty good shape. Currently the car is not in driving condition please be aware of that. The car is fully paid for and title is ready. The outside of the Audi is in great condition with a few light scratched and ding which I point to in the pictures. The inside is in immaculate condition, while this is a used car you would not think so once you take a look inside :) It is all wheel drive which help a lot in winter.
