1962 buick electra 225 I am currently swimming in doctor bills after back surgery,the body is virtually rust free it was white and got painted black some where along the line.The paint is ok certainly not perfect has a couple of light spots where it was buffed,you have to look for the them barely noticeable but they are there.chrome is average for the year.the interior is in relatively good shape,the drivers seat is showing some wear,the headliner is starting to unravel,the dash pad is cracked.The power antenna is inop ,it has a vacuum operated trunk release which works but the lock mechanism in the trunk is missing a little piece of linkage,it is missing a piece of trim at the bottom of the rear window I am looking for one may or may not have one at the end of sale.The hvac system is intach but is inop.it will need 4 tires................The motor 401 nail head had a valve job some time back, a complete tune up plugs wires points condencer rotor cap coil,it has a rebuilt carter 650 cfm carb and runs as it should with plenty of power,the power glide was replaced with a turbo 400 which is a nice upgrade it has a small leak some where I cannot get under it to see it.the power windows all work as well as the power seat (drivers side).It has a new rag joint the coupler for the steering.The steering is tight the brakes work fine only a single master cyl.THE WHEELS ON THE DRIVER SIDE HAVE LEFT HANDED THREADS. over all it is a good driver I do not think I forgot any thing.please ask questions and good luck.On Feb-16-15 at 09:27:10 PST, seller added the following information: If it does not meet the reserve I will contact the highest bidder to see if they are interested in buying at their price,other wise I will relist it.
