Vehicle Detail
HELLO EVERYONE Lets start buy telling you a little about this truck it was purchased new by my friends grand father in early 1971 (the truck is a 1970 ) its original color was brown . He brought it home and used it as a daily driver up until about 1980 then he decided to buy a another truck and parked this one in the back yard . And in 1992 it was put back on the road by his son. And he had the motor rebuilt and A new clutch put in did the brakes change the wheels and had a custom green metal flake paint job done and he drove it for a few years to work then he gave it back to his dad ... And it was put in the garage then around 1999 grandpa pulled it out and put a shell on it and used it for camping and fishing with the grand kids ( and to pull his small boat ). well grandpa passed in 2009 and this truck has sat in the garage for years with the family unsure of what to do with it because the whole family grew up with it so nobody wanted it !!!decided to sell it !!!And well that is where i come in i bought this truck to make a sweet little shop truck i was going to slam it with air ride suspension and put big wheels on it and drive as a fun toy .... But i just do not have the hart to change its path it needs to go to some one who will value its classic history and great condition and enjoy it for more years to come !!!! (or you can do it the way you want ) it this truck has lived its whole life in one family and in utah!!! And it has been very well taken care of and is in great driveable condition with the 283 v8 motor and 4 speed muncie mn465 trans... it is a half ton with 5 lug axles factory ... It has no rust only minor chips and scratches in paint still has the original carpet and door panels and head liner and seat that shows how well it was treated motor shows patina but runs strong !!! This is a great example of a well taken care of classic truck that has lots of years left to enjoy... I have put a low reserve just to keep from losing my money to low ball bidders!!! But still made it affordable to own as that is how i bought it...!!!! So bid to win and make sure to have funds ready to pay because i dont want to pay to list it again .....I will just drive it until someone drives up and asks to buy it from me if you do buy it i can help with shipping and loading or it can be driven it runs great i would drive it anywhere but tires are a little old for long miles happy bidding and bid what you can afford thanks thebirdawg
