This auction is for a 1965 GMC short wheel-base Handi-Bus windowed van. I bought this van from the original owner in New Mexico. I still have the original signed title and correct bill of sale for transfer to next owner. One key fit all doors and ignition. The hidden double door step works when opening door. Has both rare factory correct passenger seats. Have spare key and locking gas cap key. Original protect-o-plate, owners manual and some maintenance records. Sticker below odometer shows 74k miles in 1998 and driven very little since. Now shows 80K miles. Starter drags a little and will eventaully need replaced. Lights work including signals, wipers, radio, horn, fuel gage and blower motor. I removed fuel tank, cleaned, re-installed and installed a new electric fuel pump with dual fuel filters and rebuilt carburetor as well. The tag is out of date and van is not insured but I took the chance to try the van out on a 5 mile run. Runs and drives good and stops straight .Charging system works. Van does not come with wheels shown but will have steel wheels with new tires.Very solid with very minimal rust. Floors, braces, door bottoms all factory solid. The buyer field is left blank for next owner. My local tag office confirmed that these are ready to be transferred to next owner. NM titles do not require notary. Winning bidder has the option to put original title in their name or I can put title in my name first and then transfer to winning bidder. Either way works. I had van for 2 years and wanted to keep the original title until I was ready to put into my name but now I need let the van go to someone else.
