1971 Volkswagen Tin Top Westfalia Camper. This is a solid, complete bus that is ready to go camping. Strong running 1600 engine. Transmission shifts in and out of all gears smoothly. Recent carb rebuild. All new German fuel lines. Brand new battery. Not original paint. The camper has newer tires as well. The complete Westfalia interior is in excellent shape (sink, cabinets, icebox, etc..) . The z-bed, jumpseat, cargo cushion and stool have all been recently recovered in marine vinyl (UV protected). All seat belts are included. The front windows roll up and down as they should, and the jalousie windows open and close with no problems. The brakes could probably use some adjustment, but they stop the bus without any problems. All 4 original Volkswagen hub cabs are included. It does have some of the normal VW Bus rust, but nothing that requires immediate attention. You can go out and enjoy this one as it is. Nothing is rusted underneath. There is no structural damage or rust on the frame.This bus, unlike many, is electrically sound. The high and low beams work, as well as the turn signals and reverse lights. There was an aftermarket CD player installed that is currently not working. Also, there are 2 speakers installed in the "headbanger" overhead compartment in the cargo area. It seems the fuel gauge works intermittently. This Westy is located in St Petersburg, Florida. I have a clean Florida title in my name, in hand.
