Original 1948 Willys pick up from California. I purchased the truck from the original owners family. Engine stuck but including 6 cylinder hurricane, spare transmission, differentials, split bench from Willys wagon, new battery. Appears to have been converted to 12v as it has an alternator. I have no information on this conversion. Engine gasket kit was in the floorboard when I purchased it and will go with the truck. Tires good 15" mud tires. I am no expert on these pick ups. The owners family told me this was a 1953 so I titled it as such. I later found a website that stated the vin was a 48. I have included a picture of the vin tag 44055. This is not a hacked up truck you can look at it and see this is a very original rust free project Did some research in the Vin and it looks as though this is a very late 1949. Sorry for the confusion Added some pics of the bed swept out. No rust thru. No major damage to the bed. 2 16" wheels still with truck. Speedo in good shape for the age. Tailgate in good shape. Buyer responsible for all shipping cost. I will load the extras in the back of the truck. It is currently not in my way so it can stay in my shop for 60 days. After 60 day a $5 per day storage fee will be paid by the buyer prior to pickup. I would like the vehicle picked up the week after the sale. The lack of rust on this truck will save you the purchase price in rust repair. This truck really needs to go to a Willys enthusiast who loves them. I have acquired a different project that is my priority for now. This truck will sell on eBay. I am not taking offers outside of this auction so bid to win.
